Date night

Tom suggested a spontaneous 'date night' yesterday - to go see Batman the dark night rises at our local cinema.

Originally I was worried about the new Batman, I wanted it to live up to the amazing series Christopher Nolan has created. Batman the dark knight rises does not disappoint!

In a word the movie is amazing.

I was even surprised by Anne Hathaway's performance as Catwoman, she flawlessly moved from demure to temptress vixen. Tom Hardy's Bane is a powerful villain and nemesis to Batman. 

Writing this out now makes me want to watch it all over again. 

All in all it was a great date night!
