The past month...

The past month...

...I have made the move to Leeds, living with my boyfriend Tom. I now have two jobs, working at Debenhams and Accessorize, all the while looking for a more 'grown up' job. The problem is I'm not sure what job I want, I know it has to be creative, should it be in graphic design, card design, surface design. Who Knows!!

... I am working on my major project for the final year of my degree course. After Easter there is about a months more work on this and then the academic year is almost over and I say goodbye to my student life. Over the past week I have taken part in three projects, these will help me with a more diverse project ultimately helping me get a job. Images to come soon. : )

Surface Design Show

Surface Design Show

It was lovely to see my work down in London at the Surface Design Show. I knew that a large A0 poster that I had created would be on display, however it was a nice surprise to see another project of mine on show. It was a trend pack I had put together for interior trends for 2011. The exhibition stand created a lot of buzz at the show and was quite popular.

2010

2010

Before Christmas I handed in my project based on my family tree, along with my Dissertation, and was working through another project due in the next couple of weeks. So it has been a very busy time for me. This week was the first back at uni, and because of the snow lots of my meetings were cancelled. However I made it in on Wednesday to have the briefing for my final major project. During the meeting another opportunity arose to work on a further project about trends for the Surface Design Show in London in February. I have signed myself up to take on this extra work and have been working on it for the last couple of days. Hopefully things will come from all this extra experience.
